Using and Caring For your All-Clad Nonstick Tools/Accessories
Dishwasher
As with all of All-Clad's stainless steel accessories, the new All-Clad non-stick tool line is 100% dishwasher safe to make cleaning a breeze!
First Use
All-Clad pays a great deal of attention to details during the manufacturing process in order to provide you with an excellent quality product. It is recommended that before you use your All-Clad non-stick tools for the first time you wash it in the dishwasher to ensure that any manufacturing residues are removed and to preserve the high polish finish on each of these products.
Protecting the Polish
In order to protect and preserve the illustrious shine of your new stainless steel product, it is recommended that you NEVER use steel wool, scouring pads, or harsh abrasive detergents on this product. Nylon scrubbing pads offer the best cleaning solution and will allow you to preserve the shine of your new tool.
Water Spot Prevention
Water spot prevention is a leading cause of shine loss on all-clad stainless steel products. In order to prevent this spotting, it is recommended that you rinse with hot water and dry immediately with a soft dish cloth, do not allow these products to air dry as this will lead to water spots.
Cleaning
Proper cleaning methods are the most important component to maintaining the integrity of the high polish of the stainless steel in your product. It is recommended that wash with hot, soapy water, rinse with hot water, and a dry immediately. NEVER use oven cleaning solutions or any cleaning products that contain chlorine bleach as these will damage both the non-stick surface and the stainless steel. It is also not recommended to use steel wool, steel scouring pads, or any abrasive detergents as these will also damage the non-stick cooking surface. It is safe to use nylon scrubbing pads as these will not harm the tool in any way.
