Returns & Exchanges

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, most products can be returned or exchanged within the defined periods listed below and may be subject to a restocking fee (see table below). All returns and exchanges require a Return Authorization number. Please fill out the following form to request a Return Authorization number or you can contact us direct.

Was it us?

If your product was shipped incorrectly or arrived damaged or defective, we will replace the item(s) at our expense. Please do not use these items, and please report the problem to us, in writing or by phone, within 48 hours of delivery. Some items may receive troubleshooting assistance by our support team or technicians as part of this process to ensure product is defective.

Return Policies

  • New or refurbished items designed for residential use have a 30-day return/exchange period from the date of delivery. All demo units are not returnable. All Richmond Tea Kettles that have been used are not returnable.
  • New, refurbished and open-box items designed for commercial use have a 7-day return period from the date of delivery with the exception of Vitamix and Blendtec. Commercial products may not be exchanged. Special ordered items cannot be returned. Vitamix or Blendtec products which are taken outside of the U.S.A. are not covered under warranty by Vitamix or Blendtec unless shipped from a U.S.A. address.

  • Items designed for Residential Use that are in new, gently used, and in like new condition can be exchanged within their defined period for 100% of their purchase price, less original shipping costs, towards item(s) of equal or greater value. Store credit will be issued after we receive and inspect the product(s).
  • Books (including cookbooks), replacement parts, consumable items (coffee and drink mixes), and opened filters or chemical cleaners cannot be returned. In addition, dispensing blender systems and water-plummable (direct connect) espresso machines cannot be returned. Items that are damaged, missing parts/accessories, or are otherwise in poor condition are not eligible for return. Any item delivered that is beyond its respective Returns Period will not eligible for return. Any item purchased with a sale price ending in $.88 is not returnable unless otherwise indicated.

Return Shipping

If an item must be returned due to an error by J.L. Hufford, we will issue the appropriate shipping label at our cost. Instructions will be provided to properly ship the items back to us. For returns or exchanges due to other reasons, we recommend insured shipments with tracking, such as FedEx and UPS.

Please note that items must arrive back to us in the same condition that they were delivered, including the over pack carton, for the applicable refund amount (below) to be issued.

An RMA number must be issued before returning the item or it will be refused.

Once the returned item is received into our facility and the condition of the item(s) is verified, the appropriate refund will be issued within 5 to 10 business days based on the table above.
